About the sponsorship agreement

(Rights associated with sponsorship)
1. GSTR-GP will grant the sponsoring companies various rights (hereinafter referred to as "Sponsorship Benefits") as set out in the attached Sponsorship Rights List, according to the sponsor rank selected by the sponsoring company in the separate application form.
2. GSTR-GP shall be responsible for carrying out the necessary operations to provide the sponsorship benefits set out in the preceding paragraph to the sponsoring companies pursuant to this Agreement.


(license of use)
1. The GSTR Foundation (hereinafter referred to as GSTR-GP), a general incorporated foundation, grants the Sponsoring Company the right to use the name, logo, trademarks, etc. of this Event (hereinafter referred to as "Trademarks, etc.") for the purpose of advertising and promoting the Sponsoring Company, regardless of the form of media, within the scope specified in the attached Sponsorship Rights List, during the term of this Agreement. However, the specific method of use, content, etc. require prior consent from GSTR-GP each time.

2. Sponsoring companies must acknowledge that the trademarks, etc. belong to GSTR-GP and must not use trademarks, symbols, marks, etc. that are identical or similar to the trademarks, etc. as their own trade names, logos, domain names, or account names, or register, apply for, or register any such trademarks, symbols, marks, etc. that are the same as or similar to the trademarks, etc. as the trade names, trademarks, domain names, or account names in which they are the rights holders. Sponsoring companies must also not alter the trademarks, etc. in whole or in part, or use them in a way that damages the credibility of the trademarks, etc.

3. If this Agreement is terminated for any reason or if requested by GSTR-GP, the Sponsoring Company must immediately cease use of the Trademarks, etc.

4. If a sponsoring company wishes to use content related to this event (including but not limited to photographs, videos, characters, portraits, etc.) other than that specified in the attached Sponsorship Rights List, the sponsoring company must first discuss and decide on the specific method of use, content, compensation, etc. with GSTR-GP.


(Not participating in or cancelling this race event)
1. If GSTR-GP determines that it is impossible to hold the Race Event due to earthquakes, typhoons, tsunamis or other natural disasters, the spread of infectious diseases, war, riots, civil unrest or other reasons not attributable to GSTR-GP (hereinafter referred to as "force majeure"), or if it is expected that the situation making it difficult to hold the Race Event will continue for three months or more, GSTR-GP may request that the supporting companies not participate in or cancel the Race Event, and the other party may not refuse this request unless there is a reasonable reason.

2. In the event that the Race Event is cancelled or cancelled due to the preceding paragraph, the Sponsoring Company may immediately terminate this Agreement by notifying GSTR-GP. In this case, GSTR-GP will consider the status of GSTR-GP's provision of sponsorship benefits and the effectiveness of public relations and advertising up to the time of the Race Event's cancellation or non-participation, and will agree to negotiate a refund of the sponsorship fee in an amount determined through good faith discussions between the two parties. Furthermore, GSTR-GP will not be obligated to make any payment to the Sponsoring Company, regardless of whether it is for damages or other reasons, other than the refund.


(Illegal acts, scandals, etc.)
1. If GSTR-GP or a supporting company discovers any illegal activity, scandal, etc. (hereinafter referred to as "Scandal, etc.") that significantly damages the other party's social reputation or image, making it impossible or extremely difficult to achieve the purpose of this Agreement, or if there is a risk of significant damage to the image of themselves or this race event, GSTR-GP or a supporting company may immediately terminate this Agreement by notifying the other party.

2. Even if GSTR-GP and the Sponsoring Companies terminate this Agreement pursuant to the preceding paragraph, if they suffer damages (limited to actual direct and ordinary damages, excluding attorney's fees and other expert fees and lost profits) due to the other party's misconduct, etc., they may claim compensation for such damages from the other party. However, the amount of compensation for damages under this paragraph shall be limited to the total amount of sponsorship fees set forth in this Agreement.
